Stephannie Miles, Director of Career Services and Internships

Stephannie Miles is the Director of Career Services and Internships at Belmont Abbey College. Ms. Miles, who received her Bachelor's Degree and her Master's Degree from Pfeiffer University, has more than five years' experience in professional academic advising. She has taught Public Speaking, Business Communications, and Writing Workshops, as well as participated in mock interview panels. Prior to coming to academia, Stephannie worked as a corporate trainer. Her experience in the business world enabled her to know, on a first-hand basis, what corporate leaders want to see in their new hires. In her leisure time, Stephannie enjoys hiking, kayaking, rafting, running, and gardening.
Katina Winkey, Assistant Director of Career Services and Internships

Katina Winkey is the Assistant Director of Career Services and Internships at Belmont Abbey College. She received her Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, as well as, her Master’s Degree from Winthrop University in Community Counseling. During her time at Winthrop she worked with students in all aspects of career preparation including assessing personality traits and work-skills, choosing majors, exploring career options, preparing for graduate school, interviewing, writing resumes and cover letters, and delivering career-related presentations. She also served as an Academic Counselor for Trio Student Support Services, working with at-risk, first-generation college students in the areas of academic advisement and study skills training to help them achieve academic success. Apart from working with students, Katina enjoys writing, reading, travel, and art.
